I've been there bro, and I know first-hand how much seb derm sucks. You will learn over time some things to help.
For me, keeping my skin moisturized definitely helps. I use jojoba oil. Making a paste out of baking soda and applying it to your skin at night once or twice a week also really helps. Finally, eating a clean diet can go a pretty long way. I think food allergies likely play a role, but they can be difficult to determine. Removing wheat is a great first step, since nearly everyone has some degree of gluten intolerance.
I tried all of the drugs and they never really helped that much. Until you find the usually elusive cause, some of the natural stuff outlined above is great at managing symptoms. Good luck!
