Of course the food industry will say that no, there is no impact. However, it has been proved that the chemicals used to clean or make plastic bottles mimic oestrogen, which has had a negative impact on men's bodies (soon they will be wearing shoes for women). Growth hormones in animals has also been linked to an increase in breast cancer among women. Once you start messing around with nature, there is always, always a negative impact somewhere down the line.
