Lugols is more concentrated than kelp. Lugols has 6.25mg of total Iodine in 5% strength and 3.25mg in 2% strength. Kelp only has only 270mg in 200mg http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Kelp-8-oz-227g/16668.
