"Detox or dehydration? Hmm pretty much every single symptom is there.
And I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Not having any problems going to the bathroom standing up."
Again you are looking at how your own fast is going and assuming that every fasting individual has the identical experience. It seems not to have penetrated into your mind, but I just got done saying that i had fasted many times in the past with a gallon or more of water per day (in my inexperience at the time) and i was encountering weakness and lightheadedness in each of them.
In your dehydration centered philosophy of fasting i must have been dehydrated if i was experiencing these symptoms because "detox doesn't exist".
However, how can you reconcile within your mindset my drinking to excess... a gallon or more per day and peeing clear 4-5 times in the middle of the night... and experiencing what i was experiencing... weakness and lightheadedness, symptoms which you say are of dehydration and not of detox?
Is it not possible within your mindset that weakness and lightheadedness as symptoms are not limited to dehydration as the cause? Taking lightheadedness as one example, the following is what a home remedies site provides as a partial list of causes:
"Lightheadedness is also more commonly known as dizziness. ... For instance, older people more commonly experience lightheadedness due to the natural and normal weakening of all faculties. Otherwise too, lightheadedness could be caused by weakness, fatigue, anemia, low blood sugar, sudden drop in blood pressure, dehydration, or some select inner ear problems. If you have had an ear infection, it may cause labyrinthitis, which tends to occur after the infection has passed. Likewise, you could also experience lightheadedness if you have suffered from Meniere’s disease. Vertigo, a condition caused by loss of equilibrium and can also cause lightheadedness. ... If you have over exerted yourself, no matter how strong you may be otherwise, you may find yourself experiencing lightheadedness as well. There are also some serious illnesses which may cause lightheadedness. These would include a heart condition or a stroke..."

The sourced quote comprising the rest of your post is fine in it's description of dehydration, but as Chrisb1 mentioned in another post it's just not relevant to the experiences people are having here in their fasts. If dehydration is such a common development in "drinking only to thirst", why then are we not inundated here with reports of drying skin, an extremely common manifestation of first stage mild dehydration?
