Hi,

I have those symptoms & more (been dealing with hypo-t/hashimotos for many years now). Would love to get off the meds (Levoxyl), however I am also dealing with a nodule & "suspicious cells" (the Dr.'s want to operate), but I don't want to be tied to the pills the rest of my life! My glands are frequently swollen/sore.

Desperately trying to wean off & go the natural route. I have read that Kelp & L-Tyrosine are 2 impt. supplements.

Very frustrating, I could open up my on vitamin shop with all the supplements I have tried. May I ask how you did on the DHEA? I am very tempted to try it, (7-keto DHEA?) however it says one potential side effect could be hair loss & I have already lost a lot of hair (over 1/2 of volume & very bad thinning around my front & side hairline). I sometimes think its because of the hypothyroid & sometimes think because of the meds. In recent months they upped my .75 to .88 & I had heart palpations & became hot very easily. I then cut in half to .44 ... not good to go off & on, it really messed with me.

I am curious to hear more about low adrenals ... read an interesting article this weekend on how they both are tied into eachother (adrenal & thyroid).
