It looks like several so called syndroms (Crohns, IBS, and others ) could be caused by

Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis infection

There is a doctor in Australia that have taken this and other similar studies very seriously and that now treat Crohns patients for Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis infection. One of the problems is that this bacteria is almost impossible to get completely rid off even with triple teraphy of Antibiotics , but several patients of Prof, Borody has got their health back, but are basically dependent on keep taking the Antibiotics for years after years..
