Unless, you are fasting to heal your body there is no reason you CAN'T drink coffee. If you are fasting to heal your body then you shouldn't put anything in it other than water to completely cleanse. So many people do this type of fasting and all have their own discrepancies but for me even being on a liquid fast is good enough to give your colon and digestive system a rest. It all depends on what type of healing you want to receive.

Note though, that if you are trying to get past the point of hunger pangs,(for me is always day 3/4 of strictly water only) then putting anything in your body other than water will only prolong these feelings because your body is trying to digest what you are putting in it thus creating that hunger feeling.

Work through it and mentally stay busy and you'll do great! Mind over Matter people.

It isn't easy for me being a major Sugar junkie, especially craving it at night while watching TV but I have to fight it if I want the years of abuse to be cured.
