 My mother-in-law was prescribed a statin drug that made her ache and had to stop taking it. Her doc told her to take red yeast rice and now she is nauseated even though she took it with food. Any suggestions as to how to prevent the nausea??

Red rice yeast is just a low level statin so I would not take it either.
