Hi ALB I kept it off the entire 4 years. The key was I didn't go back to my old habits of visiting McDonalds 3 times a day. I guess with anyone as long as they don't return to their old habits they will be fine. Your tummy will shrink any way and your appetite. Because you've trained yourself to say no to food (mental thing) your not enticed by every favorite food that comes by either.
I found myself eating only when I felt hungry and with standard portion sizes which is the size of a Cell Phone for meat, etc, I didn't over eat anymore.
I gained weight back cause I went through a bit of trauma and just wanted to be invisible. Only way I know to do that is eat ...alot. Then I got pregnant at age 34 and got up to 300 lbs. After the baby my weight stablized at 230lbs. I lost 10 of it last year and want the rest off this year.
The first week, is not as easy as it was when I lsot the weight before cause before I didn't have to look at food if I didn't want to. Now with my child I have to make food choices all the time. But I think with support and sites like this I will succeed this year.

I had my reasons (music industry) for getting down to 120lbs. However, I'm not in that industry anymore so I don't think I'll really get down to 120lbs I want to settle between 130lbs - 140 lbs cushion. Plus I'm 5'8 1/2 and I wear heels all the time and I live in LA, plastic land.
A touch of over weight is fine. As a black woman we like our curves. With my weight though I don't carry it well all my fat goes to my tummy. Like a pair shape. My shape has only looked normal in a thinner frame. I may never have a Beyonce booty (unless I get injections like many big but celebs, but I'm not doing that) lol

add aerobics 5x week and weights 3 to 4 x week . 3x full body or 4 day split. Both of those will help burn it off faster and keep it off.
yes eat stop eat would be a way to go just have to still have the same mind frame as to not over eat when your allowed to.
To be honest there are so many ways to loose weight I lost the 10 lbs last year on my self made nibble diet, I took 2 bites of anything I just had to have (all junk food_) and no more than 2 bites.
