Hi there, it sounds like you've been through a similar journey to me....the hypervigilance, the rage, abandonment issues, panic attacks and on and on.
I've just recently posted an article about my personal journey with Pyroluria and also other health problems you can read about here if you like ~ http://hubpages.com/hub/Pyroluria-and-Parasitesa-Journey-back-to-health
It doesn't go too in depth into all that I suffered with, but it gives an idea of how bad things got for me. Also what helped me. I've also written an article on Pyroluria. I'm a qualified naturopath, I also have pyroluria and I'm in recovery with some pretty substantial improvements. It wasn't all nutrients though. I had to change my diet, address my digestive issues (which were severe). I still spiral into now only mild schizophrenic episododes and panic if I overdo it, or over indulge in sweets for too long. I'm still learning about balance and most importantly self love and nurturing, and my children are still really young, so there is never a guarentee that I'm going to get any sleep. Things are getting better though.
Hopefully my articles may provide you with some alternative insight into what might better help you fully recover. Here's the link - http://hubpages.com/hub/Pyroluria-Do-you-have-it
Wishing you well
