I made some bloodroot paste of my own, without any kind of zinc, neither oxide nor chloride. I have been taking bloodroot powder internally as routine maintenance for nearly seven years. I have taken as many at 20 00 capsules per day, slowly working up, to mitigate the nausea, and I have only experienced mild indigestion like burning.

The paste I used to remove the warts and mole contained zinc chloride. Perhaps difference purveyors have difference recipes. If it contains zinc chloride, it will eat a great big hole in your skin, without a doubt, and it will leave a huge scar.

But I have also put bloodroot mixed with tumeric and goldenseal in the hole and it did not burn or make the wound deeper.
