What inspired your MD to put you on Amox? Was any testing performed? Any other meds?

I suggest asking your doc to order a ear swab and culture, and a sinus swab (or sputum) culture. Be CERTAIN it is held for 2-4 weeks while observed by lab. In fact, I would insist on a culture.

And I would toss the Antibiotics .
