Hi

Assuming that the pH 8.5 is accurate it might be good if your urine was very acidic, now it alleviate the low pH pressure on the kidneys.

It shows that BS boost (artificially) the urine pH.

I don't think that BS should be taken for long term. I would prefer a protocol that is based on a lot more different minerals. The keeping of proper sodium/potassium ratio is important.
