 Dryer sheets are indeed an excellent mosquito repellent. During the summer evening walks with the dog, we all sport 'em. We tie one to the dog's collar and we each stuff one in a pocket or a sock. We come back bite free.

Citronella oil, eucalyptus oil or B complex also make excellent mosquito repellents.
