You have to be wary about yellow spots in the eyes. They can be an indicator of a congested liver. However, the most common cause is over-exposure ultra-sensitivity to ultra-violet rays from the sun or another source.

Have them check out by a proper eye-doctor (not optician) before assuming anything else.
