Wow, I am very sorry to hear about your condition. The symptoms you're describing (adrenal exhaustion, anxiety, extreme spaciness) are what I think of extreme anxiety or panic attacks. Especially the not feeling like you are real when you are driving your car. That is one of the more interesting symptoms of a panic attack, feeling detached or not real.

Have you tried amino acids? The book The Mood Cure? I think maybe you would do well to look into amino acids like GABA and adrenal help with Holy Basil.
