When I was young and ignorant, working but depressed, I heeded one piece of advice -- Move. I got so caught up in new feelings of my body feeling alive and muscles hurting and sweat and which shoes to wear, that I forgot to be aware of any black cloud above me. It wasn't a cure-all, but it saved me till I could figure out other useful things to do. Fish oil was number 2. These are both still part of my life.
