And not only does she have a vested interest in following the guidelines of "best practices," but now that she will have followed through on those guidelines, her patients and all their friends and relatives will say, Well, you know, Dr. Coomer had it done -- it must be the best and ONLY thing I can do, too." In other words, she now has the cancer card to play.
