It would hurt to put some supplements in his food too. Vitamins, liver support herbs or organ issues, digestive enzymes. I also grind up some flax seeds for myself each morning and put a portion of that in my dog's breakfast.

The herbs he gets in capsule form, although Standard Process makes a liver product that can go in the food. The rest I put in his food...he doesn't even know its there.
