You're absolutly right, that's why I mentioned the Iodine loading test. Unfortunatly doing the test is not very convinient...
The other way would be to go by the symptoms or as you say "listen to your body", thing is I don't know what to listen to :) could you elaborate?
What's your take on the Iodine or Iodide question?
