Need some advice.

I have a diagnosed Copper problem for many years (hair copper 150ug)and find that whenever i take Zinc - even small amounts like 5mg p/day - i get excessive symptoms.

This includes markedly increased insomnia, tiredness, tics.....basically an exacerbation of all my symptoms.

Why can i only take so little zinc? I thought zinc was supposed to help here?

Is this is sign that my organs are so full up with copper that displacing even a small amount into my blood stream causes problems...

Whats the solution here....more anti-ox's at the same time?

Advice appreciated.

I personally have a similar reaction to zinc but have low-normal copper. All my symptoms get worse when I take it. I have tried citrate and picolinate and plan on trying some other forms before ditching it completely, considering mercury impairs zinc and my zinc RBC test showed very low zinc.

I am guessing that you are simply having a reaction toward the form of zinc and other forms may be OK. If none work, you could try molybdenum as that will low copper levels for sure.
