When you say the water passed right through, what kind of time frame are you talking? Normally water stays in the body about 1 1/2 hours and then is urinated out. So what you call passing right through may just be normal.

If your BP is going up with the increased water consumption, then you may want to look at how much sodium or salt you are consuming.
