Sometimes a little bit of information can be dangerous.
Yes, pure honey will inhibit yeasts, bacteria and other pathogens. However when diluted, such as in the stomach and intestines, it loses that ability.
I did a test a while back where I added baker's yeast to jars of water with added sugar, table honey and Manuka honey. Guess what? The jar with table honey grew more yeast than the Sugar solution! Even the Manuka honey brewed up a great head of yeast!
Applied pure to fungus growing on skin, Manuka honey is probably quite effective. However when diluted it will feed all yeasts, including Candida.
Don't take my word for it. I asked the respected dysbiosis expert Dr Galland about Manuka honey, and he said not to take it because it feeds Candida.
