I would have liked to have said something on the call but I have the least expensive at&t package there is. Which does not include 'unlimited long distance'.
So, I can only listen from my computer. However, I was typing in comments on the Chat board.
I thought that you might have been there. I saw a question on the chat with regard to the Washington state ambassador, about if anybody had been contacted by her (or something like that).
It was an upbeat call, imo.
I only wish these people could see that there is life beyond Jesus & the Christian morality ethic that arose out his death. Because one is much greater than their 'belief(s)' system.
Don't get me wrong. It only because... if one only focuses on 'Christian' values & Jesus, and the idea that this nation is a 'Christian nation', one is not being 'inclusive' in attitude. On the contrary, one is being 'exclusive'. So, at the same time, this is putting all the other individuals that have become enlightened (i.e. Buddha, Krishna, Zarathustra, Mohammed, Lao Tzu, Chang Tzu, Milarepa, etc.) on a lower pedestal. And all the people that are connected to the other so-called established religions that have arisen out of these enlightened people, as being lower in status.
This unconsciously creates division and separation.
Religiousness is a personal and private affair. I would suggest keeping it that way. One cannot take a public train (or a bus) to get to heaven. Its ok to pray. In fact sitting in silence, is sitting in prayer. When you make your prayer public, it can be considered an imposition (or disturbance) onto others that prefer to pray in silence, That is just imo.
