I don’t know the stage of AF since my Alt med doc never really took the time to explain AF to me. I found out about AF from CureZone after research when my DH was dx’d with stage 4 NHL. Yeah, I went through that 1 yr after I was dx’d. Then a year later my elderly mother came to live with us and put us through hell. Needless to say she has since moved out.

At my worst my symptoms were:

unrelenting fatigue, not refreshed after full night sleep constant debilitating headaches not relieved with OTC meds upset stomach or feeling full after eating shaky after any confrontation or stressful situation low bp 80/50 low body temp (hypothyroid) itchy skin, rash

I finally did stop working and things improved slowly. I now work from home for DH with our own biz (I am lucky and count my blessings daily) so I can do things at my own pace with little or no stress.

As far as headaches…. this is the big question. I have tried to figure this out for almost 40 years. It could be the foods (dairy, wheat and yes caffeine) or it could be the lack of salt resulting in dehydration, or it could be from neck strain. Right now I only get them 1x/mo and I don’t take any meds.

Hydrocortisone was 10mg/day spaced out at 2.5mg 4x/day. I was on this for about 1-2 months, maybe less. At first I reduced it to half that amount then stopped altogether. I continued with the Thyroid (Naturthroid) which was 1/2gr then 1gr for about 6-10 months. Then I stopped. I just don't like taking meds.

The thing about Hydrocortisone is that it is supposed to be used to give your adrenal glands a rest. Once they are rested and you have eliminated the source of your stress for a period of time AND you have cleaned up your diet then IMO if you don’t stop taking them your adrenal glands will get lazy and stop working by themselves. At least this was what I researched.

I am not completely cured, I don’t think I will ever be because I was probably born with weak adrenals, but I feel 90% better than I did when I was first dx’d.

I look back at all the things that could have helped and these things come to mind:

#1 - adding salt to my food (and water)

#2 - staying hydrated

#3 - Coffee Enemas - I was not at my worst when I did them. The caffeine from them did not effect me

#4 - removing ALL negative people from my life NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE

These things will not work for everyone as each of us is unique. One thing anyone with AF should keep in mind is to progress slowly and not dwell on it. Do something that inspires you and makes you happy every day.
