I was using 'dehydration' as a synonym for 'dry fasting' when I referenced it. Correct or not, that was where I was coming from in that statement.

You make a good point. I'm not really sure about how the body reacts to dry fasting; I've only read bits and pieces about it. You're probably right though. Our bodies are capable of working through just about anything we throw at them. I'm yet to incorporate conscious dry-fasting into my water-only fasts, but I see it as something I will try at some point in time.
