Yes, it is significantly less abundant in magnesium, but again, as far as the diarrhea goes, it was more than adequately effective. As to actual dilation, I can't say. I felt more stone movement during this flush than my previous ones, but the sensations of movement began before I took any of the Mg Citrate.

Also, considering that the diarrheal effect is a result of introducing more Mg into the body than it can absorb, I would believe that the effectiveness could also have a bit to do with an individual's current Mg levels. I have been supplementing Mg since I began flushing a few months ago. I would hope that that would have improved my Mg levels, at least a bit. That may be why such a small amount gave me the runs for about 36 hours. Even now, my body is not ready for me to supplement any Mg.

I can definitely say that my body did not get as dry from this flush as it has after previous flushes. So the dosage may be at the just right level for me to produce diarrhea without overdoing it. And as telman stated in a previous email, diarrhea can cause a reduction in the Mg levels of the body, causing a need for additional Mg supplementation soon after a flush. Since I definitely do not need supplementation, I feel that this method helped prevent the unnecessary stripping of my minerals, to some degree.

Also, when it comes to ES, size does matter. Magnesium is stored throughout the body, including in the bones, so quantity is a factor. I suppose it should also be stated that I am a female, only 5'3 and about 120 lbs. I doubt I need as much as a larger person.
