I've had a sinus irritation of what I suspect is of the fungal origin, for the past 9 months..Along with many other crazy symptoms. I have tried all the sinus sprays, antihistamines, and rinses out there and nothing has provided any relief. Started using GSE yesterday and I think it may have loosened things up a bit. I also have heard that the reason a fungal infection in sinuses is persistant and hard to get rid of is becuz of the biofilm that is hard to penetrate, thus nothing you use actually gets to the infection..So in my hours and hours of endless research I have found this interesting, possible remedy and wondered if anyone has tried it..Several sights claim that there is an ingredient in baby shampoo that will penetrate the biofilm of a fungal infection, it is added to the baby bath and baby shampoo to aid in the prevention of craddle cap, which is suspected to be of a fungal origin as well. Makes sense, right? So it says to add a few drops to your saline rinse and irrigate as ususally..I am trying it tonight for sure, will post results afterwards..Keeping fingers crossed as if this works it will be a huge relief both physically and finacially..
You should take a look at this thread on GSE. It is not as natural or safe as being claimed:

I have a post on dealing with sinus infections here:

If you want to deal with biofilms add a little yucca root extract to the probiotic mix. The yucca root is a surfactant so it will deal with the biofilm and it is also antifungal.
