They have killed anyone who is a threat to their power base.

They also seed reality with ways to lock people into a mold. This is called social engineering and intelligence agencies make this happen centrally.

Many of the "spiritual" works of our day are part of this seeding. ACIM is one of the better known ones. ;-)
