Yeah your probably right, should take it with meals. But, I read to test if you are low on stomach acid you should take it on an empty stomach and increase the amount until you feel discomfort to see what the right dose should be. Well right now I'm taking a whole bunch and my stomach is not bothered by it, so my acid levels must be real low.
