Looks like it's sold through MLM, which is an automatic red flag.
As far as I can tell, it's a special source of cysteine, which is an amino acid that rate-limits the production of glutathione. So technically, if you're low in cysteine, then supplementation can indirectly increase your glutathione.
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant, so it could be a helpful accessory.
But as with any amino acid, it's advisable to be tested before supplementing. If you have normal levels of cysteine, then supplementing won't do anything.
I did a urine amino acids test and am supplementing with several different amino acids, including N-acetyl cysteine.
By the way, is Jennifer Busch's book worth buying? Any new info in there?
