Hi Dominoboy ~
Suspect your chronic infection of "pinworms" is actually tapeworm larva.
Instead of being shed in the stool, tapeworm eggs can hatch into larva in the GI tract or lower colon & migrate to the perianal or genitourinary area.
The symptoms of disseminated tapeworm larva (tiny white worms) mimic those of pinworms, & different drugs are needed to kill them.
Curing a tapeworm infection is a two-step process:
(1) Niclosamide for 7 days. This kills tapes in the GI tract.
(2) Praziquantel for one or two 3-day cycles along with Albendazole for 14 days. These kill any diehard tapes remaining in the gut & eggs, larva, & cysts scattered throughout the body.
