Hi Uny, Howdy Jackie :)

I wanted to post another message about my migraines. I have now had them three days in a row. I'm so sorry your experiencing these awful migraines; I know you're doing your best to heal yourself!

This can be typical for me. Two days I took imitrex and I just took percocet. I really want to stop taking these things. In addition I don't want to undo all the great stuff I have been doing.  I know that you don't want to be taking the drugs...that's a really good thing.  Dr. Christopher/Schulze both said when we're are dependent on the meds, we should start the cleanses & herbs and wean ourself off the drugs as we heal.  And that IS what you're doing (with good intent and admirable diligence :)  Of course, you don't want to "undo" all the good you've done, but thankfully, it's about a bigger picture than that. (yay!)  Think of it like restoring a classic/vintage car or an awesome vintage kitchen appliance...but in slow motion (lol, restoring an older human machine takes months/years, not days/weeks).  For decades these beautiful machines have had virtually no 'correct fuel or maintenance'...yet each can be completely restored.  BUT during the restoration process, there may be times that once we undo or disconnect something, we have to reconnect or redo it temporarity so that we can keep things stable enough to continue.  This doesn't mean that we're not going successfully restore ourselves to health - it just means that it's lot of "decades worth" to cleanse, restore and heal.  So needing to use the meds on & off doesn't necessarily mean that you're"undoing the good you've done"; It's more like, "Rats! Now that I've started undoing & reparing this thing, I can see I need to hook a couple things back up for awhile". :(  Bottom line: you ARE committed to healing yourself naturally and this CAN be done...and you having started doing what it takes to get 'er done!  We're talking decades worth of drugs & compromise (that's for all of us, no matter what symptoms/issues we have), and you've had some very serious colon issues (and had to take quite a few drugs along the way).  As long as you continue with the herbs & cleanses and 'weaning off' (just like Dr. Christopher & Schulze knew you'd likely need to), you will make consistent progress and reach your goal!

I am concerned that I am on a bad migraine cycle again. I can have migraines that last days or sometimes even weeks. Do you have any thoughts on what else I might try when I have a migraine or ways to make this cycle stop? I can't know for sure what's going on in anyone's body, but it seems to me like your body/colon is cleansing & releasing part of the 'congestion' that's causing the migraines, and that certainly could put pressure on the 'migraine reflex points' in your colon.  'Thin stools' (in shape or in consistency) typically indicates some kind of stricture, clog, crimp or semi-blockage in the lower colon.  That's because when the chyme (the blend of fluids & fibers we've ingested mixes with the saliva, enzymes, bile and stomach acid...which is about the consistency of applesauce) empities from our small intestines into our large intestines (colon), the fluids/water in the chyme absorb slowly throughout the large intestine and the remaining fiber-fecal matter is what we see in the commode at the end.  When this is too thin or watery, that means there's likely some area/s in the colon where it's too narrow or clogged for all the fiber to be getting through...hence there'd be pressure in your colon (possibly/likely on the migraine reflex points), which could trigger the migraine/s.  You're certainly at a stage of cleansing where this would be logical.

Also, is there anything I can do to flush out all this stuff I have been putting into my system.  Dr Schulze would likely have suggested doing the same thing he suggested for any type of colon blockage...and that would be to go 100% fluids (and lots of them, including prune juice), lots of IF#2/IF#2 OR absolutely NO fiber at all that could possibly increase or complicate a blockage (in the case of appendicitis) , high enemas and/or colonics, castor oil packs, hot/cold, foot reflexology and light --> heavy massage (be cautious  for inflammed or sensitive areas).  Dr. Christopher didn't have an "IF#2, so he recommended heavy fiber produce & grains (and plenty of fluids, of course); but Dr. Christopher (like Schulze) suggested "fluids/juices only" for infections/inflammation caused by a blockage..  In the SYL manual (CD), read the chapters of 'Cleansing the Bowel' and 'Appendicitis', that'll give you a LOT of instructions and information that should be very beneficial right now (ignore his 'coffee enema comments' because he was not well-researched on CE's.  He thought the 'energy' and sense of well-being after a CE comes from the caffeine, instead of the blood cleansing/dialysis that is actually responsible.  Also, very little caffeine is assimilated - inserting 2-4 cups of coffee a few inches into the colon for 10-15 minutes and then expelling it all, is nothing like ingesting even one cup of coffee and not 'expelling it'.  CE's actually strengthen the peristalsic action of the muscles, rather than lessening it like other enemas.  Dr. Schulze totally misunderstood CEs :(  Methinks: if you have pain, inflammation, or tenderness in your colon, then going off the solids/IF#2 is definitely a good option; if you're totally pain free and getting out some solids (and want to be aggressive), the more you can loosen things up in there with the IF#2, the more effective the colonic is likely to be

I had planned to do the big liver flush tomorrow. Should I wait until I am sure this migraine cycle is done? Since you've got a colonic scheduled on Monday, Sunday night would be perfect for the big liver flush!  And maybe-hopefully by then you'll be out of migraine zone! :)

I am not sure if it would be better to wait in case I continue to put meds in my body.  Having a migraine or taking meds doesn't prevent you from doing a big liver flush; the flush would 'work' and your liver would still benefit from the flush. But if I were experiencing a full migraine, I'd definitely postpone the flush until I was 'out of the weeds' (unless it was an emergency).  There are MANY people that take drugs that are highly addictive (particularly some of the psych-drugs, as well as the pain-killers & opiates), and they simply cannot stop taking them to do a big liver flush or they'll experience serious withdrawals.  There are a lot of reports on the Liver Flush forum of people reducing their drugs/dependencies via liver flushing.  So the choice is up to you on when to flush.  Personally?  I was scared silly when I did my first liver flush (about a million different ways), and I wouldn't call anyone a wimp if they opted-out because of a migraine.

Thanks for your help. I am still planning to do all that I wrote in the last message. If you could give me your thoughts on that as well I would appreciate it.
Regarding this from your last post: >>> I have tried the castor oil packs and to be honest they made me pretty queasy. I can try them again.<<<  Castor oil packs are typically very decongesting, but very soothing.  It seems that when a castor oil pack causes any negative sensation or reaction, that means the castor oil pack is really working (and that area needs a lot more 'castor oil packing' and decongesting).  So if the 'queasy isn't too queasy', then I'd be doing them every night (all night, if possible).

Progress is a process (a mantra we ALL find ourselves repeating constantly).  We're all dealing with "decades worth" and understanding that it's going to take some time (with 'bumps in the road'), is something we're all here to help each other through.  Your outlook and attitude are terrific...commendable even!  And I'm sure you're going to get through it all safely and effectively.  Sure, you might have a few more migraines, but I'd bet they become further between (and likely less severe, requiring less meds)...and that you'll know a lot better how to handle them effectively when you're through this one.

We're all climbing the same mountain (together)...see ya at the top!

Uny
