Appreciate your concern for others.
A word of caution, when trying to get inside the head & minds of others... i.e. playing the role of brother's keeper.
Usually, people come here to curezone to educate themselves about alternative ways of resolving their own problems & health issues. Most importantly, this has to do with learning more about one's own self.
In many instances, that which one says outwardly to others can be quite telling as to what is going on internally with that individual.
I remember in the Iodine supplementation forum a few years ago, there was an English woman that popped onto the scene. She had posted a message that contained some harsh vocabulary. At the time Iodine supplementation was a fairly new subject that was just hitting the scene. The idea that Iodine was helpful in dispelling toxins (i.e. fluorine, bromine, etc.) from the mind-body was also just beginning to be realized by many of us on that board.
The rudely written message resulted in this individual being banned from the iodine supplemtation forum.
The subject of the post that kicked off that thread was "put off". It can be found at: //www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=900593.
Later, it was found that this same individual had posted a follow-up message up on the Oil-Pulling forum expressing her gratitude to me in helping her to realize what was happening to her. //www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=901454
I am telling you this because, even though an individual may sound angry, hostile & threatening, it is only because there is probably some underlying reason for it. They are ill (dis-eased) to a certain degree. Expression (positive & negative) of emotions is healthy. The reading of what has negatively been expressed may not be very healthy for those that come along later to read these messages. One needs to have come to the right understanding in order not to be affected. And then, some discernment & personal responsibility for continuing to read the messages written by certain individuals may also need to be examined/re-examined.
One does not have to remain being a victim by hitting the 'Alert' button whenever one comes across a post that rubs one the wrong way.
Its a two-way street.
Growing up into a matured human being involves something more than simply hitting 'Alert' buttons.
With those that feel hurt or offended by what someone else has written, might also need to consider as to WHY(?) one is feeling threatened or hurt by that which another has said. "Why am I bothered by this?" - is a good question posed to oneself. After all, if one really knows who they are, then what others think about you, or write about you, shouldn't really matter very much, mmmm? Because, the bottom line is that you are the one that knows what is true about you. Who cares what others think or say?
It is only felt to matter because one depends on the opinions of others in order to feel good about oneself. In such case, a person will be easily affected by what others say - good or bad. Its because they have not really yet come to know who they are. One has not yet come to stand on one's own feet... which only comes out of going through a learning process... not by avoidance of that process.
You say: "If you feel that your message has been blocked unfairly, you can publicly post the reason that you think your message was within TOS."
Its nice to know that the matter can be discussed. However, you have not suggested to WHERE(?) one can go to publicly post the reason(s) that they think their message was within TOS guidelines. Hopefully this 'public' place you are referring to is NOT within the same forum that the message was blocked. I can suggest that this be done in a different forum altogether - the Personal Conflicts forum just may be more appropriate place for this. This would help keep the posting of messages within a particular forum on topic, rather than being peppered with messages that are trying to resolve a certain censored message by a moderator.
