I pretty much agree with everything you just said.

however what keisha said was that "100% of the life in the Gulf is dead"

This just isn't true. They are still fishing there today. There were all kinds of fish in the Gulf, there is all kinds of life in the gulf.

If she had said everything you just said in your post, I would have no problem with it. Because it's verifiably true

It's the simple difference between a statement that is true and false
