I'm holding off on doing the cleanse myself. I hope I'm making the right decision. I'm scheduled for a colonostomy on Wednesday. I could be wrong, but once I have been "cleaned out" by the prep, I think this would be a good time to start the cleanse myself. As much as I dread the procedure, I welcome it. I want this to be verified by the doctors and I'm curious as to what they recommend. I've taken 2 doses of the meds, and I see how far that hasn't gotten me. It's like things get better for a short time, then all the symptons start again. Would starting the cleanse now be effective??? Wouldn't it all be washed out when I do the colonostomy prep?
