refreshed--- was John the Baptist of the ‘chosen’? Based on Luke 1:40...”the babe leaped in her womb”, being John the Baptist, for one example of Scripture, I would say-guest (as are many of the champions of the Bible) that John was/is of ‘ the predestination chosen siblings’ (’chosen’ (with God’s direct Guidance). And John was of the blood line of Adam-Noah-Abraham- Isaac-Jacob (Israel)..which the ’chosen’ are selected to be birthed. “Chosen” get the job done, it is their spirit’s character -IMO-.. even within weakness of flesh they leave the preservation of God’s Nature of LOVING WORK to help their family-spiritual siblings ).
(in balance) Satan also has his ‘chosen’…birthed in flesh. They use their influences , as do God’s chosen, to lead (God-good or Satan-evil-lies of concerns to get you ‘over the barrel‘ of control) the remaining undecided freewill Children. Spiritual warfare is out and about within this world. But within flesh…they, Satan’s ’chosen’, can move to salvation of Christ…having been birthed in flesh (whosoever will). And as Satan is not of THE POWER OF GOD‘S SALVATION IN CHRIST as it reaches into Satan‘s camp. We have POWER OVER ALL---- within the WORK OF CHRIST --(not our pride of self-justification‘s reasons of us being ‘special‘, special case).
(side note -off topic- but the verse is here..so I‘ll haveatit) Within in the abortion discussions, CZ, I’ve noticed (not you refreshed) some say The Bible gives direct present of life, ‘a soul’… as when the first ‘breath of life’ (implying out of the womb) (even though ‘breath of life’ from the Hebrew is not atmosphere). So, I disagree, that life starts with the first breath out of the womb, in part, based on this same verse, Luke 1:40- enlightens (Biblically) when a ‘soul’ dwells in the womb (at least to HIS followers of ‘eyes and ears‘).
have a good day..don’t think I’ve ever posted to you… I enjoy your nature of holding to your personal beliefs, as I read, CZ, I like that nature (not a fence ‘setter’ / not lukewarm ), lucidhunt
Luke 1:40-50
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to

Matt 11:4-15
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
