After reading your story, and now your results post, i'm definately going to ask my doctor for silicone blood test. So thanks for your story, it really helped me realize that i'm not going crazy and there is so many women out there going through the same problems. I have had my iud put in after my second child, which i have had now for 3 years. At first, i didn't think much about side effects until i was going through changes with my body since it was put in, i had gained up to 30 lbs, i'm tired all the time, horrible mood swings, no sex drive, bad back pain, so i had thought i was going through depression, but i talked to my doctor about some of my symtoms, and after looking at this forum, i'm definately convinced its not all me, that mirena has alot to do with it. I'm going back to the doctor Nov 23 and going to talk about getting it removed, and thanks to u, a silicone blood test also.
