In some places Clark has written to adjust the doses by the weight of the child. If an adult wieghs 120 pounds and a child weighs 40 lbs then the child would get 1/3 rd of the adult dose. She also wrote to begin with a small dose and build up to the full dose and provided a chart to follow. This reduces possible toxic reaction to the die-off of the parasites.
