You state: "We cannot truly understand the amazingness of God's grace until we understand we didn't do anything whatsosever to attain it...."

This is true because we have nothing to do with what was done on the cross for us. This is the amazingness of God's grace. It was done for all of humanity...not just for some. It is done....it is finished....Jesus, in obedience to the Father, made it possible to be saved....but we are not saved until the next step....believing in Him and enduring to the end.
