We use five parts colloidal silver to one part lobelia extract (5 ml to 1 ml) and breath through the nebulizer until it is gone. Mullein might also  make a good addition (1 part, or 1 ml). I urge you to try a Chinese herbal formula supplement called ClearLungs Extra Strength.  We have had wonderful results with the combination of nebulizing as described above two or three times a day and taking the ClearLungs supplement.  We also take colloidal silver orally if we feel a bug coming on or if one is going around.

You might want to start off with half the amounts above and work your way up to the full amounts if you feel too much fluid accumulating in the lungs.  I predict that you will be pleased with your results (and let us know how it turns out if you do give the suggestions a try).
