Not trying to start a debate at all, but
do you think BP made things right??

How about the dispersants still being used
and the lies by the Coast Guard and the
Obama administration that spraying was stopped
months ago.

The Obama administration messed up even
before the spill giving the oil companies
a green flag to do whatever they wanted.
There was NO oversight. The dispersants
that were used are banned most everywhere
else, and there were lots of other options
but since Nalco is part of the oil company
conglomeration, they were given the job
and the profits of millions of gallons of
this stuff being used experimentally in
the gulf. Nothing in the magnitude of
that level of use had ever been done before.

Certainly, if it pans out that Obama told
the American people that everything was safe
and the food and water safe, and it is NOT,
then he should definitely be held to account
for that criminal lip service.

Personally, I give Obama an F for his effort
and his governance of this debacle.
