 I also ordered some fermented cod liver oil and it was HORRIBLE smelling. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that strong, or if it went rancid in transit or something. It made me gag and left an odor in the kitchen that hasn't subsided yet. Has anyone here used it? Is it supposed to be like that?

If a fish oil smells "fishy" then it is rancid.
