Ibuprofen (Advil)is probably harder on the kidneys than the liver, but I believe it can help with the formation of stones. I was a heavy Ibuprofen user for years, but was able to quit taking it for over a year. During this time I flushed out thousands of stones. Now,another injury has me reaching for the medicine again (my Naturopath recommends it as the least of many evils)and I am afraid more stones may be in my future. If you take Advil on a regular basis, do some herbal kidney cleanses and always be sure and drink plenty of water.
