I disagree with Crandall about some things. Etienne, it is easy to understand when you read a good explanation. I understood it when I read the way the immune system works explained by Dr. Paul Cheney. Cheney has been dedicated to Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and knows how heavy metals cause severe problems. When you have metals in your body, it is something chronic until you chalate them. Metals are toxins, and toxins activate a Th 2 immune response ( humoral/antibody ) The immune system is busy fighting a chronic toxicity 24/7 without an end. What happen is you have an immune system over-reacting to Th2 mode. Your army is busy and you don't have soldiers to fight opportunistic pathogens like candida.
