yep, you put the KI in the bottle first. then add watter a little at a time until no more dissolves. that is a saturated solution.

put 100gm of KI in a 100ml bottle. add water and shake. add water up to the 100ml mark. then you have SSKI - 1 gram per ml of solution. its that easy.
