I've got AF and receding gums. I started taking a product called Ora MD about 6 weeks ago. Apparently receding gums are caused by bad bacteria in the mouth and Ora MD kills these bacteria and allows the gums to grow back. My gums are firmer and pinker but it's too soon to notice any improvement in the receding gums.

I believe AF also causes gum recession by creating the catabolic state that breaks down collagen in the body. I'm a client of Dr. Lam and I take his Dermagen product which is a collagen product for reversing the catabolic process.
