When I originally went to him I was extremely sick.He suspected I has giardia based on my symptoms at that time.I got sick after going camping but did not come in contact with any bad water or anything so idk.He prescribed albenza and alinia.Then I found out I tested pos for candida and he said to take diflucan along with the Antibiotics .I feel better then I did but still am not right.My stools still have a sulfer like smell with a bit of undigested food.Im not really sure whats causing it.I was thinking about trying out digestive enzymes to see if it helps.What do you think?I really like Dr.Galland but $250 everytime we talk is alot of money that I just dont have.I do plan on calling him though if my test for sibo comes back positive.I have seen so many docs that want me to be a guinea pig...try this med and that med but nobody wants to find the real cause of what is making me sick,and that upsets me.How can you possibly cure something for good if you dont know what it is?!How does a 23 year old completely healthy person become really sick so suddenly?It makes no sense to me.Im tired of hearing doctors guessing and then saying oh IBS.Cmon ibs can not possibly make someone so sick where they lose 15 lbs in a month.Then my naturpath"it doesnt matter the cause all that matters is that we get you better".Well maybe to him,but not to me.Whatever I have can not possibly be contagious....I have 2 young children and a husband and none of them are sick.
