Uny,
Thanks for the answers. I am hoping that others will chime in.
In regards to running it all day I guess I was not fully thinking it out. I think perhaps I will run it at night because of the heat issue, maybe that will help.
I am totally confused now about the filters. I saw a post from Telluride that said " First thing I did was remove the charcoal filter and threw it in garbage. Everything I read said it was not needed. The distilled water is pure as can be and doesn't need additional filtering.". I think Anne also said she was not going to use the filter and there was one other person as well.
In your post you said "Distillers remove fluoride & chlorine, but not chloramine. You *need* the activated charcoal filter!" and "I sure hope they're using it (particularly if they have chloramine in the tap water where they are...not all cities use chloramine). Also, distilled water is totally "empty" when it comes out (meaning it can 'pull' various gasses from the air). Making sure you use the activated charcoal filter means the water will not be totally empty."
So perhaps it is the filter than came with the Distiller and I should get another one?
I would still like to see if anyone else that has a distiller including Anne and Telluride could respond to my original post. Thank you for your ideas and help
Thanks again for your help!
