For the record, the "R" rating was given for the content about alkalinity.

In regards to what Grz said about putting your ego aside, I don't think that what virtually everyone but you sees as an obvious truth constitutes either a personal attack or a TOS violation.

This thread, which I sadly fear is far from over, is yet another example of where you take personal offense at mere disagreement, play the poor injured party and proceed to engage in a discussion that goes on and on and on (and likely becomes increasingly acrimonious).  I don't know whether it is ego, being too quick to take offense, insecurity or what - but I share the belief of many others that you have serious issues you need to address and I hope that you eventually do so while you are still in good enough graces to continue to make the valuable contributions you do.

You know, not responding when someone disagrees or even when someone posts something you believe to be insulting does not mean you are giving in or agreeing.  It can mean that you are confident enough in what you posted that you are willing to allow it to stand on its merits without the need to continue debating and responding on and on and on.  Such prolonged response can easily give the appearance that someone may be trying to justify something that they don't have complete confidence in.  Think about it.

Anyone can be a detractor and be widely known as one.  Much harder to be a valuable contributor and be known pretty much only as that. Show us you can do it, H!
